Senior Public Policy Officer, Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County
Debra Prewitt has been employed with the Juvenile Welfare Board Children’s Services Council since 2001. She was previously a city council member and mayor of New Port Richey, as well as a Florida State Representative and Executive Director of the Deaf Service Center of Pasco County. Her areas of expertise include state and Federal legislative policy and budgets, and she has systems knowledge in the provision of services to children and adults with disabilities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Eckerd College, and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida.
