Master of Public Health student in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida
Sharonda Lovett is a Master of Public Health student in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida pursuing combined concentrations in Epidemiology and Maternal and Child Health. As a certified health education specialist, she uses her background in health education to identify opportunities for improved program planning methods and engagement within underserved communities. Sharonda is primarily interested in the social determinants of health and improving the overall well-being of vulnerable populations by examining health disparities from an ecological perspective. Some of her responsibilities for the Supermarket Project included conducting semi-structured focus groups, recruiting participants, and providing assistance with data collection, data entry, or data management.
