Lauri Wright is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Florida and the Director of the Center for Nutrition and Food Security. Her research focuses on the impact of food insecurity on the health of individuals, the nutritional needs of people with AIDS, and global nutrition. She formerly worked as a clinical dietitian for the Veterans Administration, providing medical nutrition therapy for veterans with chronic disease.
